A Staycation means what it sounds like; a vacation you take “at home”. Staycations have become a great alternative for families who would not otherwise take time away from real life at all. Using your house as your hotel, is an added perk. Common activities of a Staycation include use of the backyard pool, visits to local parks and museums, and attendance at local festivals. Some Staycationers also like to follow a set of rules, such as setting a start and end date, planning ahead, and avoiding routine, with the goal of creating the feel of a traditional vacation. There are a lot of fun activities to do right here in central Ohio and beyond! Get Organized for Your Staycation!
